Free Video-on-Demand Cable Service Decision of ABC

I am a big fan of the LOST, so I have watched these ABC television series since season 1. When I miss some episodes, it is hard to catch up the story! Thus, I prefer watch the Lost with DVD.

Lost has been at the forefront of new television distribution a method. It was one of the first series issued through Apple's iTunes service. Also, since Season 2, new episodes have been available for download the day after on ABC website. One step forward, ABC says that Lost and Desperate Housewives will release for free video-on-demand cable services.

I think that ABC made a good decision. Nowadays, traditional television programs are threatened by new technology such as internet broadcast. If ABC keeps its traditional way and not to change, there is no future for ABC any more. Video-on-demand cable service is a clever choice for ABC because it makes viewers watch TV again. Actually, many people feel more convenient and comfortable watching program on TV than internet. If there are proper systems to catch viewers’ attention and satisfaction, people will come back to their television.
