On a Valentine’s Day, Joel Barish takes a train and meets Clementine Kruczynski by chance. Although they do not know each other before, they feel attraction and fall in love for a short time. However, they have the history; they loved and don’t have memories of that they were together. After heartbreaking experience with Clementine, Joel decides to erase his memories through the company which specializes in a medical program can erase specific memories. Clementine has undergone a medical procedure, too.
